Bob Hair Cut
There are many different bobs from which to choose, and a bob’s length should be chosen based on the length and shape of a person’s face. The Bob hair cut is one of those classics hairstyles that seem to never go out of trend.
Bobs can be evenly cut or cut at an angle. Bangs can be added to a bob haircut, which can look cute on some people. Bob haircuts on people with curly hair tend to look better if they are of the longer cut variety. Short bob haircuts on people with very curly hair can make a person’s head look like a triangle. A mod style is similar to a bob, but it adds more texture to the cut and is a lighter type of cut. With a mod style, a hair dresser will cut bangs that are heavy and pushed to one side of the head. People with this sort of cut usually use some sort of styling product to shape the hair and give it a “swooping” look.
An asymmetrical bob is one in which one side of the head sports much longer (or shorter) hair than the other side of the head. Asymmetrical bobs can also be achieved by cutting hair on the back of the head much shorter than on the sides.. Pageboy-is slightly different from the bob, but is also acknowledged as a type of bob. Hair is usually worn straight and could go as long as shoulder-length.
Chinese bob-Cut at the neckline, bobbed up around the edge. Pob-A typical bob cut, with slightly longer hair in front, cut in an asymmetrical style. A popular way to achieve asymmetry in a hair style is to cut the bangs in an asymmetrical fashion so that they hang heavier on one side. Highlights can look great with any hairstyle, and bobs are no exception. A professional hair stylist or colorist should be used to make sure that the highlights match the original hair color and so they are not overly obvious. Highlights should be strategically added so that they enhance the texture of the hair and add a stylish edge to a cute haircut. Some people enjoy spending an enormous amount of time each morning on their hair - making each and every individual strand look perfect before exiting the home. However, many do not have the time or desire to worry too much about styling hair after it’s washed. The most conservative of the Bob, the sleek one-length cut is always in style. This sophisticated cut can be trimmed to a length that is attractive to almost any face shape.
There are so many different versions of bob haircuts that there should be one suiting for nearly everyone. The first style pictured is gently fringed at the bottom so that it is very soft around the perimeter. A flirty variation is the flippy Bob, layered in the bottom two inches and worn with texturized bangs. The secret to this cut is to take out enough of the bulk at the bottom to allow it to flip out but leave enough so that it doesn’t lose its signature line. This style is also very attractive when allowed to slightly curve under close to the neck. Style this cut as you would the one-length bob except using your large curling iron to turn the ends out slightly. More layering will release your natural curl to form this curly Bob. To style this look, generously apply a curl encouraging gel or mousse. Dry it using a diffuser or just naturally while you scrunch it. Be careful to keep the curls big and chunky.
